Hello, My Acer Extensa 4120 Did Not Work Anymore.
When switching on, display is dark but for a half minute you can hear the cooler and the hdd working. then it schitched off. What can i do? thanks for info

The two things that can be done are usually
A build up of fluff could be blocking the air flow, and this can form quite a large 'pad' between the fan and the filter, causing it to overheat very quickly, and thermal shutoff occurring.
If it is not overheating, it can be revived by removing the battery, and the power supply, hold down the power button, for 30 seconds, and then leave battery out, but connect the power supply only and press the start button. If this makes it start ok, then shut down, replace battery and powerup.It is also possible that the battery, or, power supply is becoming defective, and insufficient power is available. Some laptops will not pwer up if the battery is completely dead, although most will just power up from the psu.
I have a link, but unfortunately it does not seem to be working, to see how to dismantle if attempting cleaning.
However, if yo u try youtube for videos, you may find someone has a video of it.
