Camcorder Input, Windows 7
I have a Sony Handycam DCR-TRV38 which records to Mini-DV tape. I would like to transfer this video to my new Acer laptop. However, windows 7 will not recognize the USB connection. Sony site says the drivers are included in Windows 7 but USB streaming is not supported. I've heard firewire will work but not sure how to make this happen-there is no firewire port on this laptop. Can you help?
