ATTACHING THE STRAP Thread the shorter looped end of the strap under the STRAP POST (10); Open the BATTERY DOOR (16). • Before you remove the old battery, close the lens cover. 6 LOADING THE BATTERY This camera uses one 3 V lithium KODAK KCR2 (or equivalent) Battery that supplies power for all camera operations. 1. pull the longer end through the shorter loop and pull it tight.

Low-battery indicator It's time to replace the battery when the BATTERY SYMBOL (21) appears on the LCD PANEL (4) or when the FLASH-READY LAMP (14) takes longer than 15 seconds to turn on. 3. NOTE: Insert the battery into the chamber as shown. 2. Snap the battery door closed. Place the battery over the battery-pull strap and insert into the camera before you load the film. 7
