Recovery Disk

From a fellow eMachine user:

"Restart your emachine. after the boot screen the BIOS screen comes up. The BIOS screen is the one with all the writing in white letters. On the BIOS screen you should be given the option to run a recovery by hitting one of the function keys. On my e-machine, it's F11. hit the F? key and follow instructions. After recovery is complete, i recommend making a recovery disk using the wizard."

As for actually making a recovery disc, it sounds like it's a bit temperamental at best.
