Power On Failure

I have been given the Yamaha RX-V495 in good working order. But it will not power up. Voltage correct. Impedance setting correct. On pressing the standby/power button, I can hear it switching "on", but then immediately switching "off". No display at all. Help please?

Hello the problem could be from the power regulator. I suggest you call in a service technician
