The Remote Power Button

When I hit the remote power button for the tuner nothing happens. Volume works fine.

If the unit can be switched on and off at the device then I would suspect the remote control has an issue. If they are used for a prolonged period, in time the most used button will start to fail. This can be solved by taking apart and cleaning if that is possible or purchasing a replacement remote. Have you checked the batteries? Simple mistake sometimes as a low battery voltage could alter the strength of the signal.
