Whirlpool Wmh2175xvb-2 No Longer Heating

This microwave is no longer heating food.  All other functions are working.  I have checked all of the settings and it will not heat food.  This oven is very new.  Is there a solution for this problem?

I manage the maintenance department at a large apartment community and we have the same model microwaves in our apartments. Shortly after installation we began having problems with several microwaves not heating. They were brand new and still under warranty so we called them into Whilrpool warranty. Whirlpool sent out A&E Factory Service and the techs would always replace the magnetron. We only had a 1 year commercial warranty with them and the magnetrons were around $100 each to replace. With 20+ microwaves breaking down in the first year I couldn't belive that mana new magnatrons were going bad. When our warranty ran out I decided to try everything before spending that kind of money on new magnetrons. It turns out that the magnetrons were all fine, the problem was a loose wire that connects to the magnetron. We have since repaired over 40 more by taking the microwave down, removing the cover, and squeezing the connectors on the wires that attach to the tabs on the magnetron with a pair of pliers. It has fixed all of them and we have not had any service call backs after making the repair. Hope this helps.

I bought this model in sept of 2011 and this is exactly what the problem was.  The red+black connector to the magnetron was loose creating an open circuit.  I disconnected the power and carefully removed this connector (female) and tightened with a pair of needle nose pliers and reconnected to the male end  of the magnetron.
