My Hard Drive Died On Me, It Has Unreadable Sectors And Fails Smart Tests.
Its still under warranty so I guess I can RMA it, but after all the grief it caused me, I am not sure a RMA is fitting. Some alternative ideas:
Viking style burial
Target practice at the range
Use in place of a balloon in a water balloon launcher targetting a brick wall
Try out my new angle grinder on it
Any other ideas are appreciated.

Although your drive has failed with unreadable sectors your data could still be recovered and I recommend you do return it to Western Digital as from experience their after sales service is excellent. If the drive is still under warranty you will receive a replacement which should serve you well.
There is a lot of recovery software available on the net for data recovery.
