Compatability Questions

I have a D1680 uniden phone and someone gave me a DECT1580 phone with base can I use these two on same phone without problems?

In the manual on page 13 the Uniden DECT6.0, 1580 accessory handsets: DCX150, DCX200, and DCX300.

The 1680 supports a total of 12 cordless handsets: the one that came with the base and up to 11 DCX160 accessory handsets.

It seems that the dcx150 & 160 would be compatible; the manuals say they don't, so you could just try the dcx 150 to see if it will register. Nothing ventured nothing gained.
