Close Call Setup
Sir,Subject: UBC 355 CLT Close Call Modes setup.Detail: Great scanner, however I cannot set up the close call feature and cannot find the information I require online or in the Owner's Manual (Pages: 45 - 46). I would really appreciate any help you can give.- I can complete steps 1 - 4 no problem and can display: 'b1 Lo'- So, to turn this band Close Call selection 'On', I select 'PROG', no problem, display now reads: 'b1 Lo .On'- The issue is, I cannot select other bands to turn on also. If I select the 'UP/DOWN' arrows, they turn 'b1' off or on!. - If I select 'BAND/STEP' it removes the 'On' selection from the b1 BAND!- Select 'BAND/STEP' again and I'm back to C-C.band.- Select 'PROG' again and I'm back to 'b1 Lo' display.- Why does the 'On' disappear, and why can I not turn on other bands?I'm obviously missing something, and would appreciate your help as the Owner's Manual seems to stop short in explaining how to set up ALL BANDS for Close Call as well as ensuring that when I turn a BAND 'On' it actually is 'On' even tho the 'On' disappears from the display.Thanks.Mike
