Ram Memory Upgrade

Hi, I would like to upgrade ram memory to 4 GB (single) from 3 GB (1 X 1GB and 1 X 2 GB ) and I would like to know if it will work, or do I have to do 2 X 2 GB. Thank you.

Greetings. Here is all you will ever need to know about RAM upgrade on you machine model. 2GB X 2 is the most prefered. Agian your machine has only two RAM slots. Yes you can insert a 1GB on one and 2GB on the other though.
