many times these complaints are caused by bad wires from the cable box or what ever you are watching to the TV (especially when using component inputs). If, when you press the [menu] button on the remote and the colors for the menu looks good, then the TV is likely not the trouble. If the menu is bad then take it to a shop for an estimate.
