Unfortunately when you get Vertical lines over your TV screen and they slowly diminish over time, you have a temperature sensitive set of shift registers in your TV's LCD panel that have failed.
The only way to fix your problem is to replace the entire LCD panel. Those shift registers are built into it.
The part number you need is -- 1-802-699-16
And the only place I found that even lists that part number on Google is Encompass. That part is NLA -- No Longer Available.

I'm sorry to say your TV cannot be repaired, unfortunately.
You can verify that the panel is bad, simply by activating your TV's menu. You will see that the Menu is blocked by the lines, and that means that the picture and menu signals can't get to the LCD display at all.
