Resetting Audio From 32khz To 48khz On Sony V1u.

I've had the camera in 48khz for a long time and suddenly it was on 32khz. I've tried using the AC adapter for its power source. I was told that would allow me to reset it. I've tried using the battery. It doesn't matter what power source it has. It needs to be fixed because Final Cut Pro wants 48khz and that is the industry standard. Although things change on the FCP timeline, it often gets out of synch and is a pain to correct. Help! Tired of this.
