Programming A Universal Remote
hi i bought a universal remote from Dollar General and I am trying to program it to my Sony DVD home theater surround sound but I'm having troubles finding the correct code that I need to use to program the remote

It's not possible to answer without knowing the remote's brand. Note that these remotes, though called "universal," do not each act with every device obtainable. If you can't find a compatible universal remote, you'll have to buy a dedicated one from Sony. (Use the contact information here--https://www.contacthelp.com/sony/customer-service.)
