On Display Protect Push Is Flashing

Protect mode is designed to protect your speakers from overload during a failure. Firstly, disconnect all of the speakers in case it is a problem with speakers or wiring. Remove the power plug from the mains for 30 minutes. Plug back in with no speakers attached. Turn on. If it gives the warning again, you have a failure in the amplifier section. Usually a blown power amp IC. It will need to be diagnosed at a service centre. If it runs without protect message, one of your speakers and wiring could be the problem. Connect them one by one until it fails, then check your connections or have the speaker tested.
