Doesn't Stay On
I have a Sharp CV-P10RC portable room air conditioner. It stopped running and now shows flashing lights in the following sequence:TimerTimer + OperationTimerTimer + OperationTimer + OperationThen a pause and the sequence of lights repeats.Please let me know what this light sequence means. Also, I did clean out the air filters, I turned off the unit for 30 minutes (unplugged), and I also TRIED to drain the water out of the unit. I have never been successful at draining the unit: the instructions in the manual do not result in any water coming out of either of the drain plugs. I would like to know how to do this as well.

Yes, the exhaust blower was jammed for some reason. No need to take off the back of the unit. With unit off, remove exhaust hose, push on the blower with a pole/stick. If you cannot release it with the unit off, try it with the unit on. Which is what I had to do. As soon as the blower comes alive, remove poking device immediately! Being as it is close to Memorial Day, I happened to have an American Flag very close by! USA,USA,USA! Keep at it, it should work. Took me a couple tries, but in the end it works great now. Honestly, the fix took less than a minute.
