One of 3 ways.
  1. Use a coaxial cable to connect from the Dish reciever output to the TV input.
  2. Use an HDMI cable to go from the Dish reciever to the TV.
  3. Use RCA style audio/video cables to connect from the Dish reciever to the TV.

Any will work.  The coaxial will be the worst quality.  The HDMI will be the best and will be required for hi-def programs.
