How To Unlock My Phone Without Having To Do A Recovery

I put a password on my phone and I can't figure it out please help me I don't want to lose my pictures or my music

Enter a wrong password until your phone says' log in to your Google account to unlock your phone. if you never sync your Google account with your phone then you have to hard reset your phone and lose everything' follow the instructions below to hard reset your phone
