Messaging Isn't Working
Out of nowhere my messaging has stopped working. Whenever I go to click on my messages or email it just says "initializing" and then goes back to my home screen. I also had a friend send me a text and they aren't coming through. What do I do?

this happened to my phone too. you need a new sim card. you will have to call the company and have them issue you a new one. it takes about 3-5 days to come in the mail and then once the new sim card is in it will work again. you can keep the same phone number and everything just have to get a new sim card. if you dont it will soon affect your contacts as well.

I had the same thing happen to me and i call Straight Talk and told them about it. They said first you have to reset the phone to default(if you haven't done so already) if that doesn't work, the SIM card is probably bad so they sent me a new one. Then with the order number you call and they transfer your account info. over. Hope it all works out!! =)

I had this problem. After reading the other answers on here I discovered that if you RESET PHONE and DO NOT RESTORE PHONE, it fixes the problem and DOES NOT delete contacts or texts. If you RESTOR PHONE YOU WILL lose everything. By reseting all I have to fix is things like the wall paper. Hope this works for everyone.
