if the power supply capacitors show no sign of the tops puffed up (see picture on the bottom of this C/L ad): http://seattle.craigslist.org/see/wan/2558508669.html These cause a myriad of failures including yours. The voltages are present with a volt-meter, but a scope can show the filtering problems.

If the back lights work and the power supply is working correctly, then the obvious problem is the "Main" board(part number is likely BN94-02585L lists for $200, the only way to know for sure is to research the part number with the full model number and serial number).
