White Screen In Source 1
I get a white screen in Component 1. Component 2 and TV both work fine. Can I fix this?

do this simple test: plug a patch cord into component 1 green port to allow the set to see it has something attached so it will allow you to select this input. Go ahead and go to this input. You said it turns white, so then press the [menu] button and see if you can see this on-screen-display or is it completely washed out? If you can see it, then enter the video adjustment section and ensure the settings are normal (make sure the brightness isn't above 50% and the back-light is centered too). Many sets have the video section alignment separate for each input to compensate for different devices. If the problem still exists, then disconnect the patch cord. If the white screen is still there then that input is damaged and the only fix is to replace the "main" board.
