Tv Off And On Every 10 Secs

I turn on the TV & the image goes off and back on every 10 secs.

I believe that this may be related to overheating of some hardware parts of your Samsung LN40B540P8F. It may also be a loose power cable so you need to check if the power cable is fixed to the power outlet.
