If your printer is set up for user maintenance, the maintenance counter will be reset when you replace the fuser unit. If your printer is set up for service technician maintenance, you can reset the maintenance counter by going into service mode and resetting each (or all) of the parts under SP 7804.
To enter service mode, hold down the up and down arrows at the same time, for about 5 or 6 seconds, then release them and press the Enter button.
