How do we clear a fax memory error off the printer

You can delete some (or all) of the faxes stored in the reception file to can make room for new faxes. On the fax screen, press the button toward the top labeled Change TX / Info, or TX / RX Status, or something similar. On the menu that appears, select the option for printing or deleting the reception file.
The list of stored faxes will be displayed. From here, you can either print out or delete (or both) old faxes, and make room for new faxes to come through. If you want to delete old faxes, you can select multiple files at once to delete.

It is most likely a cache issue. You need to reset it the memory and you should be good. For information on how to do that check the manual or here
