Why Does The Ricoh Mp C2050 Not Add Onto The Macos As A Working Printer?
Why does the Ricoh MP C2050 not add onto the MacOS as a working Printer? I have already added the latest drivers and even added it using the IP Address, but when I add it as a printer it says that the printer is not responding or giving some network error. I have 3 Ricoh C2050's and all of them are giving the same type of result.Are there specific network settings that I need to apply to the Ricoh for it to communicate with a Macintosh Computer?

Why is my Ricoh printer not connecting?
Connect the interface cable before turning on the machine. Printing does not start. If the machine is using wireless LAN, failure to print might result from a weak wireless signal. In [System Settings], under [Interface Settings], select [Wireless LAN], and then press [Wireless LAN Signal] to check signal status.

To print to your Ricoh printer from a Mac, you'll need the Adobe PostScript option. Without that option, your Mac won't be able to print to the Ricoh.
If you have the PostScript option installed (you can check by printing a configuration page -- it will list the PostScript option toward the top of the page) then this article will help you set up printing from your Mac:
