Scan To Folder

There are several things you'll need to do.  You'll need to set up a scan destination folder on your computer -- it has to be a shared folder that the MP C2030 has permission to read and write to.  You'll also have to enable exceptions in your firewall for file and print sharing.

On the copier itself, you'll need to add the scan folder as a destination in the address book (User Tools > System Settings > Administrative Tools > Address Book Management).  Either type the folder path (using the computer name and folder name) or browse the network to find the folder.  If you use a username and password to log onto your computer, you'll have to enter these credentials into the Authentication tab, under SMB Authentication, in order for the copier to be able to access that folder.  Once you've set up the folder, use the Connection Test button to make sure the copier can get to that folder.

Totally wrong.

You can't do scan to folder on an MPC2030.

The MPC2030 scan work only with TWAIN driver.

You can do SMB scan with the superior mpc2050 and later models,

or the inferior mpc1500 or b/w models MP2000.
