L22hd32d Won't Stay On

Unit comes on normally, can select input okay, video is great, for about 10 seconds, then goes blank. Unit does not turn off. I can replace components, just need the right area to start looking.

Adding to my original post - Sound is fine, playing a DVD works normally, just that the video goes blank.

After digging deeper, i find that there is video, just no backlight. I've touched up most of the solder joints in the inverter area of the power board, but no luck. What would cause the inverter to work for only 5 - 10 seconds? Also, what's a good source of parts at a reasonable price?
