How To Set The Day Of The Week

How do I set the DAY of the week on the RCA 25255re2? I've determined how to set the date and time but cannot locate instructions in the owner's manual how to set the DAY of the week so the correct day of the week is displayed on the base as well as properly referenced in voice messages.
