Bluray Player Will Not Sync. No Picture Or Sound.

Everything was working fine for several months. All of a sudden the bluray player would not work. Bought a new bluray player, did not help. Switched hdmi cables , did't work. Plugged my dvr into the bluray hdmi socket, it worked fine. I am stumped. Any ideas? Thanks
