No Sound From Mcd 708.
I have used the system in the past. I tried to use it today to play a music cd and am not getting sound from the system. What is the problem?

When was the last time it worked? What were you playing, radio, or CD? Is the correct mode selected? Are the speaker wires connected and connected properly? Does any sound come out at all even on radio?
I would suggest that the audio amplifier has died or the speakers are bad if no audio comes out at all.
If the radio still works then the CD motor or other CD circuits have failed. Either have it serviced or replace the unit.
