Troubleshooting Dead Dvi Port

When I plug a DVI cable that properly displays a picture on the DVI port on a monitor the Panasonic report "No signal." Does this mean that there is a dead port or is it possible that there is a configuration that needs to be changed?

If you select any COMPUTER or DVI terminal which has no signal, the

computer connection guidance will be displayed. See "Computer connection guidance" on page 56. Also make sure your cables are working fine.

Hope that is helpful.
