How Do I Set The Number Of Rings For Answering Machine Model Kx-tga542m. There
Machine does not pick up--my message goes right to voice mail. I do not see a Menu button on answering machine.

This is one of Panasonic's "direct commands." These are full explained on this manual page: http://bit.ly/1WqMR2t. The particular command for setting the number of rings is explained on the following page, to which you can easily navigate using the large right arrow (which looks like a sideways caret) on the side.
