Lens Cover Won't Open On My Olympus Sz-10

Hi, the lens cover won't open on my Olympus SZ-10. I can open it with my fingers but it won't open automatically. Can anyone advise please? Is it something I can do myself or would I need to take it to a Camera shop, if so, do you think it would be expensive? Regards Phil

Hi there. The lens cover might be blocked by dust,hit the camera on something for few minutes, the cover might be released.
