Olympus C-3040 Won't Start.
I removed the batteries from my C-3040 about a year ago. I just put new, fresh batteries in but the camera won't start up. I cleared all of the terminals. I used new AA batteries and also tried new CR-3V batteries but the camera just will not turn-on. Any suggestions.

Hi. You have tried pretty much all common camera troubleshooting steps. One last would be to make sure you do not have any storage card installed when powering it up. Assuming you are certain that you are installing the batteries in the correct polarity. Unfortunately, you normally need the camera on to perform a firmware update. You may need to seek professional help ultimately.
