Setting Up My Wireless Router Connection
ok soo i followed every step to setting up my router configuring da modem etc ... now when i try to connect wirelessly it does not let me connect to the internet unless i have the ethernet cable in what can be the problem if i follow all the correct steps which has been confirmed to me that i have taken the right steps and said im ready to start surfing the web yea thats great but i cant get a wireless connection really need help on this one been trynna figure this thing out for 3 days now .....

Start by going back into the router admin screen with your browser. Don't use the wizard on the CD.
Shut off ALL wireless security. No WEP, no WPA, no filtering, nothing. Try connecting again.
If successful the issue is with the security configuration on the access point or the PC.
If not, perhaps the access point is defective but you won't know until you try.
If you use XP it's a bit flaky with wifi. Make sure you have the latest drivers for everything.
