go to start then at the bottom type cmd. in the window type ipconfig it will show your ipv4 address and gateway

In windows vista,xp and previous methods you can use the method ,Go to start->Run->command prompt->ipconfig/all it will show the ip addresses,sub net mask,default gateway,dns servers etc..To check internet or external ip address visit the site Ip-details.com
