The Nec Vt470 Image Turned Yellow, What Can Be The Problem?

The blue portion of the picture is missing (red and green light makes yellow). The problem involves the blue LCD panel and its' associated polarizer plates being heat stressed from the lamp. This is replaced as an assembly and it is a very expensive part (usually $1200-$2200). contact the local NEC service center so they can narrow down the cost (NEC requires us to put in a price quote email and it takes a couple days to hear back).
