How Do I Fix No Dial Tone / No Service (out For 2 Days Now)?

I have had MJ for 9 mos. I am not plugged into a computer. Cannot send or receive calls. Have unplugged and replugged all connections.

Sorry for your problems.

Your magicJack may not work properly, or at all [partial list]:

if your magicJack is not running,
if it's not properly secured,
if the phone cord is not secured or is broken,
if you're not connected to the Internet at a sufficiently high speed,
if without a powered USB hub several phones are used to generate power from a USB port,
or if your magicJack device is defective.

You may wish to try these instructions. You can also reset the device, as explained here. Or consider "Running MagicJack as System" as outlined here.
