magicJack will not work without a high-speed Internet connection.

Rates unfortunately tend to change with time. The only way to be sure of the most current rates is to take the time to fill out the form leading up to the free trial (https://web01.magicjack.com/magicjack/action/index.html?act=CART&type=F&ver=05&sourceID=magicjack.com%2Fplus-v05%2Findex_mainOrder). You don't have to complete the order. Note that despite magicJack's promotional verbiage, your initial purchase includes calls for only half a year. Note also that magicJack does tack on additional charges; I suggest you read carefully its Terms of Service (https://web05.magicjack.com/my/index.html?page=https%3A%2F%2Fweb05.magicjack.com%2Fmy%2Fplus-v05%2Ftos.html%3FsetModeCSS%3DCSS1).

Yes magic jack works with internet service but please make sure that it is high speed instead of Dial up. The one year plan costs 29.95 a year.
