Lexmark Pinnacle Pro901 Will Not Let Me Print Black Only. Says It Needs Color In
i have been using black ONLY for a few months and all of a sudden the printer will not print and says it needs color ink even when i select black ink only when printing. why wait until now to require color ink?

The printer needs all of the cartridges with sufficient ink levels in order to prevent damaging the printhead. Every time a cartridge is replaced, all colors are primed simultaneously thus the need for all cartridges to have ink.
Make sure that the firmware of your printer is up to date. It will make your printer more reliable and more efficient. Just go to http://bit.ly/ghfW8H to download the firmware update.
