Shows 'ink/toner Empty' But No Indication Of What Color Cartridge To Change?

My lexmark S300-S400 series was working just fine just now.  I have had it for about 1 month and have been printing color and black and white prints with my printer.  And it was working fine today, and all of a sudden it doesn't want to work anymore.  I have a mac.  And the pop up screen said that "ink/toner empty" okay, but it does NOT indicate what color cartridge to change.  There are 3 color and 1 black cartridge.....they cannot all need to be changed at once!!!  This is my second S300-S400 printer so I know how these are supposed to work.  The lcd screen on the printer does not indicate which color cartridge to change either.  And I went into the Utility section of the printer on my computer to check the supply level, and the supply level there shows that ALL of the cartridges are full.  And it does not indicate which color that I need to change.   I was even able to successfully print a "test page" with the printer, even after the "ink/toner empty" sign appeared on my computer.   So how do I know which color cartridge to change if the printer does not tell me?  And where can I go to find out which color cartridge is low?  I have read all of the online forums, and even used the "help" app on my computer that runs the program for the printer and NO HELP at all.  I have even googled the problem and still nothing came up.   I am past the 30 days return policy for this printer so I cannot return it, so what are my options now???   Please HELP!!!

To check the ink levels, on the control panel of your printer, press on Setup > Maintenance > Check Ink Levels.

If your still have sufficient ink levels for all cartridges, your computer might be displaying a false error message. Try to uninstall the Lexmark driver and download an updated driver here: http://bit.ly/rtOKTx. Just choose the operating system of your computer.
