Why Will My Printer Not Print Or Copy Black Text,and What Can I Do About It? .

Make sure that you have sufficient ink levels in all of your cartridges. Try performing a maintenance on the cartridges. To do that, on the control panel of your printer, press on the Ink Levels > More Options > Deep Clean Printhead.
Also, make sure that the firmware of your printer is up to date. Just go to http://bit.ly/ghfW8H to download the firmware update.
