Can I Disable The 'unlock' Button?

Is there a way to disable the "Unlock" functionality of the "Power / Lock" button located on the top edge of the phone? This button is continuously pushed while the phone is in my holster, bypassing the screen lock and resulting in constant "pocket dialing". Note that my goal is to prevent pocket dialing, which has lead me to activate screen lock, but this has failed to have any meaningful effect as the small "power / lock" button on top of the phone can still be pressed in the case and bypasses the need to swipe the screen to unlock. If there is a way to stop that button from unlocking the phone (remove screen lock ONLY with a swipe), it would be very helpful to me! Thank you.
