The Only Problem I've Recognized The Fuser Rollers Are Run-down.

The gravest problem is that the surface of the rollers are not balanced. There are hollows, and scratches that make the paper black-striped.I can't afford to replace all of the units.So I want to fix them.I want to remove the old layer and make it even by sanding it.Then I want to paint them using a heat-resistant (600 degrees Celsius) pigment.So if I do these things will the rollers still magnetize the powder?
