im trying to get an image that was sent to me via text message on my ascend phone. it says downloading but i can not find the image either in my gallery, my text or my downloads. where is it/

Huawei Ascend G300 is an android phone,right? if there are your images is still downloading, it can't be found in your galleries except it have complete 100% downloaded.
if you need to search the images that have been downloaded, try search it using file managers. download it from play store.
how you can send and receive images using text messages?
maybe,you mean that you send it using Multimedia Messages. :)
