Hitachi Tv Has A Blue And Yellow Haze
i bought a lamp for my hitachi ultravision 60 inch i bought the lamp cause it wouldnt work at all after i got the new bulb in it had a yellow haze an it jus keeps gettin worse i would like to kno if someone knows what i should do an how much it cost in range cause if its alot ill jus buy a new tv

you have this under the model number LE42S704 which is a LCD flat panel TV and there are no lamps that can be replaced in this model. The LCD rear projection TV sets that have replaceable lamps use optical engnes that fail from the heat from the lamps after time. There is no way around this fact, and it's not only a Hitachi problem, all brands do this. The fact that you had a weak lamp that finally failed, then you replace it with a new one that's bright and the flaws in the picture are more obvious..
