Why Does My Tv Turn Off By Itself After 5-7 Seconds After Turning It On?

This is also a common indicator that there is a problem with the power supply.

It may be a Bad 5v regulator in main board or failed epromm

My remote does this with my TV. It could be your on/off button is sticking on the remote. Here's what to do. Turn on the TV with the remote and then immediatley point the remote away from the TV. If the TV stays on, you know what the problem is.
