Bulb Is Very Dim

Bulb got dim before burning out.Replaced the bulb after it went out but brightness is very low. Replacement bulb is the correct p/n. Cleaned filter, checked settings but projector is still very dim.

If the picture is uniformly dim, then suspect the new lamp. Send it back and get another one. You likely have bought a generic and in might be a factory second: http://www.encompassparts.com/item/5993191/Hitachi/CPX445LAMP/Lamp_(Dt00691)

If the brightness varies in brightness (lighter on one side, in the center, etc) then you need a new optical engine.
