Remote Control

how to line colors up by taking the middle part of remote color off and lining up colors. Service tech had replaced lights or bulbs (didn't look like either-he had a hard time lining them up) then he said he needed to go into the remote because this was where you lined up the colors. Manually lining up or magic button didn't fix this color he said. My remote was broken so we were waiting for another remote.

I think you should check the model number again, or get another technician out to look at this set.

there is nothing inside the remote that does any alignments. You need the remote to operate the service menu. the model 50V500 is a LCD rear projection and there is no convergence adjustments that uses the magic focus. There are "Ghost image" adjustments that is probably the problem you have and this is in the service menu. He will need a working remote and the service manual (the remote doesn't need to be opened).
